Legendary Rover is a team working as part of the Student Scientific Association of Aerospace operating at the Rzeszów University of Technology since around 1975. We are involved in building a vehicle based on the Mars rover. As a non-profit organisation, we bring together technology, space science and mechanical engineering enthusiasts. We were founded in 2011, initially focusing on the University Rover Challenge and now also participate in popular science activities.
Building a Mars rover provides the hands-on experience in engineering and robotics needed to develop a functional rover for a manned Martian mission. It allows the team to test and refine their technological knowledge and develop skills in teamwork at the same time.
Each year, new and ambitious students join our team to develop their interests and contribute to the evolution of the space project.
