Two members of our students scientific associationhad the honor of attending a robotics workshop in the Netherlands, at the ESA (European Space Agency) headquarters in Noordwijk! 🌍 It was here, at the ESTEC (European Space Research and Technology Centre) complex, that they had the opportunity to exchange experiences with experts in robotics and space exploration.

We visited zones related to metalworking, automation, robotics and many other fields. We talked about our most important projects, the challenges we overcame, and the passion that drives us to keep going.

We are happy to announce that our scientific club, Legendary Rover Team, actively participates in initiatives related to the development of innovations in our region!

How does Legendary Rover Team support RSI? As a team focused on developing space technologies and robotics, we perfectly fit the assumptions of RSI. Our projects, such as the construction of the Mars rover, not only develop our knowledge and skills, but also support the strategy’s goals, promoting innovation and the transfer of modern technologies in the region.

Students of Rzeszów University of Technology with a passion for robotics, computer science, biology, geology, aerospace, aviation, regardless of their field of study.

A great result in the Lunar Robotic Prospector mission and second place in the Science category translated into 4th place in the overall Anatolian Rover Challenge 2024! We narrowly missed out on the podium, an unexpected electronics failure during the night mission additionally could have deprived us of further participation, but thanks to the team’s hard work and determination we were able to continue the competition the next day. The experience we gained during the last week has enriched us with skills, valuable lessons and a deeper understanding of our strengths and weaknesses. We return much richer in knowledge, ready for the next challenges, following Nelson Mandela’s principle: ‘I never lose. I either win or learn.’

We are not returning to Poland empty-handed we won the ‘Challenge to Shine’ competition for the best manipulator. Also our operator during the mission showed dexterity and craftsmanship in operating the rover for which we received a special mention in the operator category.

🌇 Rzeszów is a dynamically developing city, full of new ideas and technologies. We are happy to promote this image, highlighting our pride in being part of this innovative region.
